Ashlee looks great in these photos. I think her rhinoplasty changed her from a cute goofy girl to a sexy seductress. Her original nose wasn’t too bad but this is a huge improvement. I don’t think the person above looks anything like the dark haired Ashlee Simpson we remember from the past but all in all, she looks better, less individual but better. So that said, do uniform facial features always appeal to more people? When I look at the faces we see in Hollywood day after day, they all have some things in common, small noses, perfect white teeth, symmetry, big eyes, large lips… It seems like we are always being sold this same idea of beauty. I guess now a days there is no reason not to conform. Sometimes I see someone walking down the street with a huge honker and I think to myself “why on earth doesn’t that person do something about that?”. Wow, I am really materialistic… Maybe living in LA is starting to mold my mind.

I am not a fan,  but this cover is gorgeous.  Another example of the miracles of Photoshop & Air Brushing!

{December 6, 2007}   Britney Turns 26

Britney at 26

Britney Spears celebrated her birthday into the wee hours of the night at The Scandinavian Style Mansion event at a private residence on Sunday in the exclusive area of Bel Air, California. She wore a slinky black mini dress, purple panties, a white fur-trimmed jacket and YSL Tribute platform shoes. The party was attended by Alli Sims, Diamond Entertainment owner Claus Hjelmbak, Sam Lufti and Paris Hilton among others.

She turned 26 this past weekend. While she aged in years, I doubt she aged in mentality. After the party ended and by the time that most normal people are alive and kicking, the pop wreck mama spent her special day with her two sons.

R&B superstar Alicia Keys has realized why she was branded a lesbian at the beginning of her career – because she was “rough around the edges”.

Keys’ sexuality became the subject of speculation after the release of her debut album ‘Songs In A Minor’ in 2001.

However, the singer has been adamant she isn’t a lesbian but has admitted that her appearance and attitude may have led people to think so.

“I was definitely rough around the edges. I look back at certain interviews and I’m like, ‘Damn! Did I have to look that hard? Did I have to do my hair that way?’ The Sun quoted Keys, as saying.

“I could see why people couldn’t see the diamond in the rough.

“I didn’t take it to heart. I know what I am. I know it’s not true,” she added.
